Private voice and video invitations

Private calls are available only inside an active mutual connection between currently eligible, verified profiles. A member must send a separate voice or video invitation, and the other member may accept or decline it. Camera and microphone access begin only when a member chooses to join an accepted call. A declined, cancelled or expired invitation may create a cooldown.

Invitation counts, active-request limits, grouped in-app notifications and bounded push delivery protect members from repeated call requests. Attempts to automate invitations, evade a cooldown or flood another member are prohibited. Media is carried through encrypted WebRTC and may use a third-party TURN relay for connectivity; Sarkari Matrimony does not record calls. Members must not record, capture, publish or misuse another person's call without lawful permission.

Independent platform and operator

Sarkari Matrimony is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government, ministry, department, public-sector employer or recruitment authority. It does not offer government jobs or recruitment services. The real legal operator and customer-support coordinates are published on the Contact page before paid checkout is enabled.

Account access and contact details

Google sign-in requests only the openid and profile scopes; Sarkari Matrimony does not request Google's email permission. Google can return a stable account identifier and basic profile fields. The application stores only the stable identifier and account name in the member account and discards other returned profile fields. A response containing an email claim or unexpected scope is rejected. No member mailbox is stored, exposed in the admin console or used for routine or marketing messages. If a member contacts support, the operator may reply through the channel the member provides.

A phone or WhatsApp number is not required during sign-up, onboarding or matching, and there is no phone OTP step. After sign-in, a member may optionally save one self-entered Indian mobile number in the dedicated encrypted contact vault. It is not a verified number and is never a profile, search, AI or chat field.

After both profiles are verified and each has sent at least one in-app message, a member may separately reveal only their own saved number to that one match. The permission may be revoked, replacing or deleting the number cancels active permissions, and a block or interrupted profile, account or match makes access unavailable. Revocation cannot make another person forget or delete a number already seen. Keep all contact details out of profiles and ordinary chat.

Adult-only eligibility

An account holder must be at least 18 and must separately attest to that fact before using member features. New profiles are limited to a woman aged 18 or older seeking a man, or a man aged 21 or older seeking a woman. The account holder's age confirmation, the represented adult's profile age and family-managed subject permission are distinct checks. Do not create, activate or manage a profile for a child, change an age to pass the gate, or use a family-managed profile to arrange a child marriage.

A credible in-product underage concern creates an immediate, temporary profile quarantine and priority human review. It is a safety precaution—not a finding or automatic ban—and an audited human decision can restore an otherwise eligible profile. The age gate determines access to this platform only. It is not proof of age, legal capacity or eligibility to marry, and Sarkari Matrimony does not solemnise or register marriages. Members must independently check every condition that applies before marriage. India Code publishes the current Prohibition of Child Marriage Act definition.

Family-managed adult permission

A member may create a profile for an adult daughter, adult son or adult relative only with that person's knowledge and clear permission. Before activation, the account holder must attest that the adult knows about the matrimonial profile and has given permission to create and manage it. This is the account holder's statement, not independent proof of the adult's identity, age or consent.

Permission can be withdrawn from the profile dashboard. Withdrawal immediately pauses the profile and stops its discovery and contact access; recording permission again does not resume it until the account holder separately chooses to do so.

You are responsible for the accuracy of names, age, employment claims, photographs, relationship preferences and other information submitted through your account. A male profile may be published only with a declared government-service role under the platform's eligibility model; a declaration is not verification.

Display names and controlled real-name sharing

You may use an optional display name instead of showing the profile's real name to other members. It must be different from the real name and must not contain contact details, impersonate another person, claim a job or official rank, or falsely suggest verification, platform authority or government endorsement. If no valid display name is set, the service may show a neutral member code.

Only after a mutual match, verification of both profiles and at least one message from each person may you reveal your own real name to that one match. Each person decides separately; revealing yours does not reveal theirs and does not make your name public elsewhere. You may stop displaying it later, but the service cannot make another person forget, delete or stop using information they have already seen. Changing identity information or interrupting the profile, account, consent, match or contact relationship cancels the existing permission and does not restore it automatically. Do not copy, publish or misuse another member's real name.

Authentic-photo rule

Profile photographs must show the real person represented by the profile and must be reasonably current. AI-generated faces, impersonation, stolen photographs and materially deceptive edits are prohibited. Confirmed deliberate deception may lead to permanent removal. Automated indicators alone should not be treated as a final ban decision, and a human review or appeal may be required.

Matching is guidance, not a guarantee

Compatibility scores, reasons and rankings are decision-support tools. They do not guarantee identity, employment, salary, conduct, marriage, safety or relationship success. Members must make their own decisions and independently verify information that matters to them.

Verification

Verification is an optional, point-in-time human review of submitted evidence. Identity-only profiles provide a private live selfie and identity document; they are not required to provide employment evidence. A profile claiming current government service also provides one selected current work record through the in-app camera flow and may add an optional official public reference. A full Aadhaar number is never required; a masked Aadhaar may be used where appropriate.

After reviewing the evidence, the reviewer records findings about identity consistency, photo/selfie consistency, document validity and legibility, currentness, and official verifiability. The service derives a baseline Verification Strength from those findings. A reviewer cannot raise that result, but may lower the final score only by recording a structured reason and an auditable lower cap. A numeric threshold alone cannot approve a profile: an issuer/source or issuer security feature must also be checked. Identity-only and government-service profiles have the same maximum score, and employment evidence is never required on the identity-only path.

A verified badge or Verification Strength is not a government certificate, employment guarantee, background check or endorsement of character. It is separate from Behaviour Trust and compatibility. An in-app camera label is not cryptographic proof of provenance. A human opens each required item, and an optional link or DigiLocker URI never approves a profile automatically. A badge may be removed if later evidence conflicts with the reviewed information.

Verification documents must be submitted only through the designated private flow, never through member chat. The service attempts permanent file deletion after the human decision, and the member may immediately delete any retained reviewed file from the dashboard without losing the recorded verification badge.

Payments and digital fulfilment

A member first submits every required private verification item. If the current verification price is ₹0, review access activates without payment. If a fee applies, only then does the application create an exact-amount UPI QR and reference; an authorised administrator confirms the member-entered transaction details separately from the later evidence decision. Free activation or payment confirmation never creates a verified badge by itself. A missing or unreadable item leaves the profile unverified and the member receives a clear in-profile status or correction note. Human review may take up to three working days after review access becomes active.

Optional audio and audio-and-video calling plans provide 30 days of access and do not renew automatically. Their exact INR amount, purpose, duration and limits are shown before Razorpay Checkout opens and on the Pricing page. Calling plans permit the purchaser to initiate eligible invitations. Receiving is free. Both plans share a 120-minute connected-call allowance per India calendar day; audio and video usage is combined, unused minutes do not roll over, and invitation anti-spam limits continue to apply. Sarkari Matrimony does not sell or ship physical goods. The shipping and digital service-delivery policy and cancellation and refund policy form part of these terms.

Member conduct

Do not harass, threaten, discriminate unlawfully, solicit money, distribute private documents, scrape profiles, automate outreach, evade a block, misrepresent employment or use the service for recruitment, advertising, fraud or any unlawful purpose.

Private audio, real-name disclosure and photo access require the applicable member-controlled permission. Permission may be withdrawn, and access to one profile does not permit copying or publishing that person's information elsewhere.

Behaviour-led safety controls

A message asking another member for an OTP, UPI PIN, CVV, password or bank login may be stopped before it is sent. Unusually high new-contact activity or the same long introduction sent across several profiles may temporarily pause new conversations. Attempts to evade these safeguards through another account or automated outreach are prohibited.

Behaviour Trust is an account-level, explainable in-app conduct score, shown separately from identity and employment verification. A new account starts with limited history rather than a perfect score. Repeated automated safety patterns, a threshold of independent blocks after mutual matches, human-confirmed report findings and audited restrictions may affect it for stated time windows. Blocks from accounts that never mutually matched are excluded. A report that has not produced a human-confirmed finding, one block, a pending allegation, religion, community or caste, disability, health and partner preferences do not lower it.

A score or activity prompt is not proof of fraud, character or future conduct. Reports require human review before they can become a confirmed finding; restriction of the account is a separate audited decision. Members remain responsible for ordinary safety checks and may request human reconsideration through the Contact page. A human-overturned finding or suspension stops affecting the score; reactivation after a served suspension does not rewrite the audited history.

Reporting safety concerns

Use the in-product report control for harassment, fraud, impersonation, inappropriate content, privacy violations, government-job misrepresentation or an underage concern. Reports enter a private human-review queue and do not automatically create a ban. A platform report is not a police complaint. For immediate danger or suspected crime, contact the appropriate emergency or law-enforcement service and consult the Safety centre.

Suspension and removal

Access may be limited or removed to protect members, investigate credible abuse, respond to legal requirements or enforce these terms. A narrow activity threshold may cause a temporary, reversible pause without deciding that fraud occurred. Serious fraud, impersonation or confirmed synthetic identity use may result in permanent removal only after the required human process. Where safety permits, a member should receive a reason and a way to request human reconsideration through the Contact page.

Availability and limits

Features may change, pause or be temporarily unavailable during setup, updates or maintenance. Sarkari Matrimony does not promise uninterrupted service or a minimum number of compatible profiles.
